Mississippi Lawmakers
The liberty index measures economic and personal liberty scores for both US House and US Senate members. As you can see by our 2008 scores we have some work to do. Even though Harper has not been scored yet he should score as high as Pickering. Pickering had the best score in the House in both categories. Wicker had the best score in the Senate.
The Liberty Index for 2008 can be found here: http://www.fontcraft.com/images/X2008.pdf

“The Republican Liberty Caucus does the real work of advancing limited government; you don’t just talk about it… What you do really makes a difference.”
Haley Barbour (then) RNC Chairman, (now) Governor of Mississippi
The Mississippi Republican Liberty Caucus exists to promote individual liberty, limited government, and free enterprise within the Mississippi Republican Party by promoting these ideals among Party officials and its various organizations, identifying and supporting candidates sympathetic with these ideals, and promoting Caucus membership among Mississippi Republicans, officials, and officeholders. In addition to recruiting and endorsing candidates, the MS RLC works with local party activists in all 82 counties to restore core Republican principles. Many of our members serve actively in their local Republican Party organizations and some of our members are elected to political office or candidates for those offices. We encourage you to join us and become active in your local affiliate.
